Since our first CTP installation in 1999, Typetec has become one of the leading providers of prepress solutions to printers throughout the island of Ireland. With over 70 systems installed, we have worked very hard to deliver industry leading solutions to each and every customer.

All our Kodak (formally Creo) CTP installations use state of the art Thermal imaging technology and are fully scalable as the needs of your business changes over time. From manual to fully automatic systems to suit the commercial, newspaper and flexographic industries. Every system provides a comprehensive choice of workflow, plate technology (including Processless plates), imaging speed and level of automation. From B3, B2 and B1 sheetfed to Newspaper, VLF and Web printing requirements, Typetec has a solution to meet any requirement.

Our engineering department also refurbishes second user CTP systems which are available in several different configurations. Such systems have all the benefits of new units but at a fraction of the cost. In addition, these systems can be supplied as part of a consumables purchase agreement or rented for an agreed period.

As Kodak’s largest distributor in Ireland, we provide local hardware and software service to our customers and hold local stock of parts in our Dublin facility.
