One to One

The day of bringing a group of students to a computer room for an hour or two a week is well and truly gone.  More and more second and third level institutions are moving towards one-to-one laptop programmes where each student is provided with a laptop.  Where this has been introduced it is normally in the senior cycle of second level education and junior cycle of third level.
